Director: Greg’s Driving School
Includes: 10 Classes & 6 hours of drive time
Ages: Coed, must be 15 to register
The driver’s education program at St. Paul’s School for Girls is provided by Greg’s Driving School, the largest driving school in the state of Maryland. Each session includes the MVA required ten classroom lessons and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. Driving times are to be scheduled individually by each student.
Students must attend class #1 of their selected session. MVA and COMAR rules do not allow students to continue the session is they miss class #1. If a student cannot attend class #1, they must find another session for them to attend.
Additionally, if a student misses four or more classes in a session, their participation will not count and they will need to select a new session. COMAR requires students to attend a minimum of six classes during their designated session. Even if a student attends the first week of a session (classes #1 through #5), but is unable to attend week 2 (classes #6-#10), they must retake the entire session.
If you need to miss a class due to a conflict or an illness, please contact Mrs. Duckett, Director of SPSG SUmmer, to coordinate your make up classes. You MUST have all ten classes completed before you apply for your license.
